The solutions of a model describing cell mediated immune surveillance against cancer are studied. The model is based on the concept of a dissipative system far from equilibrium and is represented by a nonlinear parabolic system of partial differential equations. Limit cycles and limit front solutions are worked out by means of perturbation and numerical methods.
