Um die Einsteinschen Feldgleichungen mit Materiefeld über eine Lagrange-Dichte L herzuleiten, wurde bisher angenommen, daß L einen symmetrischen linearen Zusammenhang und nur den symmetrischen Teil des Ricci-Tensors enthält. Verff. zeigen nun, daß auch ein allgemeineres L (abhängig von einem unsymmetrischen linearen Zusammenhang und vom Riemann-Tensor) bei Erfülltsein gewisser Regularitätsbedingungen zur Einsteinschen Theorie führt, indem die Verallgemeinerungen nur zum Auftreten zusätzlicher Materiefelder Anlaß geben.
