The author is concerned with a difference method approximation for nonlocal boundary value problems related to a third-order pseudo-parabolic equation with variable coefficients. In this sense, a priori estimates for the differential and difference forms are obtained which allow to establish the uniqueness and stability of the solution on a layer with respect to the initial data as well as the convergence of the numerical algorithm.
