The author studies the \(L^2\)-boundedness of the singular integral operators acting on functions on the real line which are of the form \[ T^\lambda f(x) = \lim_{\varepsilon \to 0} \int_{|x - y |\geq \varepsilon} e^{i \lambda S(x,y)} K(x,y) f(y)dy \] where \(S \in C^2 (X \times X)\), \(X \in \mathbb{R}\) open and the singular kernel \(K\) is completely supported in \(X \times X\).
