The authors deal with the following problem: \[ -\Delta u=|u|^{2^*-2}\cdot u, \text{ in }\Omega\qquad u=0,\text{ on }\partial\Omega,\tag{1} \] where \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb R^N\), \(N\geq 3\), and \(2^*=\frac{2N}{N-2}\) is the critical Sobolev exponent. The authors assume that \(\Omega\) is invariant under a nontrivial orthogonal involution \(\tau\) of \(\mathbb R^N\), that is, \(\tau\) is an orthogonal linear transformation of \(\mathbb R^N\) such that \(\tau\neq Id\) and \(\tau^2=\text{Id}\) (\(\text{Id}\) being the identity of \(\mathbb R^N)\), and \(\Omega\) satisfies \(\tau x \in\Omega\) iff \(x\in\Omega\). The authors establish existence of nodal solutions to the (1).
