Let \((M, g)\) be a Riemannian manifold and \((N,g)\) a submanifold of \((M,g)\) with the induced metric \(g\). Then one may consider intrinsic and extrinsic invariants on \((M, g)\). The scalar Ricci and \(k\)-Ricci curvature and the squared mean curvature, respectively, are well-known examples. It is an interesting and fundamental problem to study relationships, as for example equalities and inequalities, between these scalar invariants. In this paper, the authors continue their study of this problem and consider the case when \((M, g)\) is a locally conformal almost cosymplectic manifold (i.e. an almost contact metric manifold \((M,g,\eta,\varphi,\xi)\) which is locally conformal to an almost cosymplectic manifold) of pointwise constant \(\varphi\)-sectional curvature, and \((N, g)\) is a submanifold tangent to the structure vector field \(\xi\). They derive several inequalities when \((N, g)\) is slant, invariant, anti-invariant or CR-invariant, respectively and discuss the case when the equality occurs in their relations.
