Jeffrey D. Achter connected the distribution of class groups of function fields and the distribution of eigenspaces in symplectic groups over finite fields. Gunter Malle extended this idea to the number field case. Motivated by these results, the author extends to finite rings the results of Jason Fulman concerning distributions of eigenspaces over finite fields.
