Cyclic cohomology and higher indices for noncompact complete manifolds (Q1908110): Difference between revisions

The author computes the cyclic cohomology of (uniform) Roe algebras associated with noncompact manifolds and identifies it with (uniform) simplicial cohomology with infinite support of Rips' polyhedra associated with a net of the Riemannian manifold. The results have applications in the theory of generalized Dirac operators on noncompact complete Riemannian manifolds.
