A stationary transport equation is considered on the unit disk in \(\mathbb{R}^2\). The related inverse problem consists of the recovery of a coefficient and the nonhomogeneous term in this equation in terms of the boundary values of its solution specified on the boundary of the unit disk. The author studies the stability of this inversion problem; this is done by estimating the change in the parameters to be recovered in terms of the change in the boundary values of the solution of the transport equation.
