Rates of approximation and ergodic limits of resolvent families (Q1924912): Difference between revisions

For a resolvent family this paper formulates theorems concerning rates of convergence to the identity and of ergodic limits, including theorems about saturation classes, non-optimal rates, and sharpness of non-optimal convergence. Then, as applications, some known and new results on \(C_0\)-semigroups and cosine operator functions are deduced.
