The authors start the paper by addressing five questions regarding the behavior of some dynamical systems. Although in general, one cannot get a complete answer to the five questions, the authors provide two concrete examples when this is possible and the answer is well-known. In the first part of the paper, the authors use some basic examples of deterministic dynamical systems to provide a description of their behavior, such as the relationship between closed invariant subsets, statistical behavior of their trajectories, as well as invariant probability measures. In the next chapter, the authors consider simple non-deterministic dynamical systems and recall some classical properties regarding their stationary measures. The next chapter uses these properties regarding the stationary measures to prove an equidistribution result for random trajectories on the torus. The last chapter explains how the basic properties, for the two examples considered in the first part, can be extended to more general cases.
