This paper is a short and nice survey of recent results on slicing inequalities for convex bodies, but on the setting of arbitrary measures. First the author discusses what is known in the case of the famous \textit{slicing problem} but for arbitrary measures: this problem asks for the existence of an absolute constant \(C\) so that for every \(n\in\mathbb N\), any \(k=1,\dots,n-1\), every \(0\)-symmetric convex body \(K\subset\mathbb R^n\) and any measure \(\mu\) with non-negative even continuous density in \(\mathbb R^n\), then \[ \mu(K)\leq C^k\max_{H\in \mathrm{Gr}_{n-k}}\mu(K\cap H)| K|^{k/n}; \] here \(| \cdot|\) represents the Lebesgue measure and \(\mathrm{Gr}_{n-k}\) is the Grassmanian of \((n-k)\)-dimensional subspaces of \(\mathbb R^n\). Next he considers the so-called isomorphic Busemann-Petty problem: if \(\mu\) is again a measure with non-negative even continuous density in \(\mathbb R^n\) and \(K,L\subset\mathbb R^n\) are \(0\)-symmetric convex bodies so that \(\mu(K\cap\xi^{\bot})\leq\mu(L\cap\xi^{\bot})\) for all \(\xi\in S^{n-1}\), does it follows that \(\mu(K)\leq\mu(L)\)? The answer here will be the same as in the classical case: only affirmative in dimension \(\leq 4\). Upper estimates for the ratio \(\mu(K)/\mu(L)\) are discussed. Finally, the so-called Shephard problem is surveyed, analog of the Busemann-Petty problem for projections, as well as the separation and the stability in this question. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1377.52002].
