    Every bideterminant \((U/V)\) is a linear combination of bideterminants of standard bitableaux, \((U,V)=\sum_{(s,t)}\) standard \(a_{UV,ST}(S/T)\). It is proved that \(a_{UV,ST}\neq 0\) implies \(^ sU\trianglelefteq S\) and \(^ sV\trianglelefteq T\), and \((U/V)\neq 0\) implies \(a_{UV^ s,U^ sV}=\pm 1\).
