The author reformulates the main result contained in his previous paper [Invent. Math. 69, 103-108 (1982; Zbl 0505.14017)] in order to correct an error in the description of the relations defining the fundamental group of the complement of a real arrangement of lines in \({\mathbb{C}}{\mathbb{P}}^ 2\).
