Let be given the controlled object: \[ x^{(k)}=u, \;x \geq 0, \qquad x^{(k)}=q_{k},\;k=0,1,\dots,(n-1) \tag{*} \] where \(x\) is a scalar valued function, \(n \geq 1\), \(q =( q_{0}, q_{1},\dots,q_{n-1}) \in\mathbb R^n\), \(q\) is given. Optimal control is to solve equation (*) in such a way that the solution minimizes the following functional: \[ I= \int_{0}^{T} \left(x+ { |u|^{p} \over p}\right) dt \rightarrow \min \] where \(p>0\) and \(T>0\) are given. The paper uses the so-called landing theorem proved in previous author's papers, where the case \(n=3\), \(p=2\) was considered. This paper however extends the results of that theorem for the case \(n>3\), what brings a new element into mathematical theory of optimal control.
