    The authors establish the existence of single- and multipeaked positive solutions of the problem \[ (P_\varepsilon) \quad\begin{cases} -\varepsilon^2 \Delta u+u=u^{p-1}, \quad & x\in\Omega\\ {\partial u\over\partial \nu}=0,\quad & x\in \partial\Omega \end{cases} \] where \(\Delta\) is the Laplace operator, \(\Omega\) is a smooth bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^N\) \((N\geq 2)\), \(\nu\) is the unit outward normal vector to \(\partial\Omega\), \(0<p<{2N \over(N-2)}\) for \(N\geq 3\), \(2<p<+ \infty\) for \(N=2\) and \(\varepsilon>0\) is a constant. The following main results are obtained. Theorem 1. Suppose \(p=\Gamma_1\cup\Gamma_2\). Then for \(\varepsilon \) small enough, \((P)_\varepsilon\) has a positive solution \(u_\varepsilon\) of the form \(u_\varepsilon= \alpha_\varepsilon u({x-y_\varepsilon \over\varepsilon}) + \varepsilon^{N/2}w_\varepsilon (x)\), where \(w_\varepsilon \in E_{\varepsilon, y_\varepsilon}, y_\varepsilon\in \partial\Omega\), such that for \(\varepsilon\to 0\), \(\alpha_\varepsilon\to 1\), \(y_\varepsilon\to p\), \(\|w_\varepsilon \|_\varepsilon \to 0\). Theorem 2. Suppose \(p_1,p_2\in \Gamma_1\) or \(p_1,p_2 \subset\Gamma_2\), \(p_1\neq p_2\). Then for \(\varepsilon\) small enough, \((P)_\varepsilon\) has a positive solution \(u_\varepsilon\) of the form \(u_\varepsilon= \alpha_\varepsilon u({x-y_\varepsilon \over\varepsilon}) + \beta_\varepsilon u({x-z_\varepsilon \over\varepsilon}) +\varepsilon^{N/2} w_\varepsilon (x)\) where \(y_\varepsilon \in\partial \Omega\), \(z_\varepsilon \in\partial \Omega\) and \(w_\varepsilon \in E_{\varepsilon_1 y_\varepsilon, z_\varepsilon}\), such that for \(\varepsilon\to 0\), \(\alpha_\varepsilon\), \(\beta_\varepsilon\to 1\), \(y_\varepsilon\to p_1\), \(z_\varepsilon\to p_z\), \(\|w_\varepsilon \|_\varepsilon \to 0\).
