Ein kommutativer Ring A heißt quasinormal, wenn Pic A\(=Pic A[T,T^{- 1}]\) ist. Hier wird die Quasinormalität von 1-dimensionalen, induzierten, noetherschen Ringen A mit endlich erzeugtem ganzen Abschluß \(\bar A\) untersucht. Definiere \(\nu (A)=h_ 0(\bar A/{\mathfrak c})-h_ 0(A/{\mathfrak c})-h_ 0(\bar A)+h_ 0(A),\) wo \(h_ 0(A)\) die Anzahl der Zusammenhangskomponenten von Spec A ist. Bekannt ist [\textit{H. Bass} and \textit{M. P. Murthy}, Ann. Math., II. Ser. 86, 16-73 (1967; Zbl 0157.087)] daß A (1-dimensional,...) genau dann quasinormal ist, wenn A seminormal und \(\nu (A)=0\) ist. - Es wird gezeigt, daß \(\nu (a)=0\) genau dann ist, wenn 1. jede Komponente von Spec A lokal einzweigig ist; 2. je 2 Komponenten sich in nur einem Punkt schneiden; und 3. keine Polygone in Spec A existieren. Auch wird gezeigt: \(\nu (S^{-1}A)\leq \nu (A)\). \textit{N. Onoda} und \textit{K. Yoshida}, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 33, 59-67 (1984; Zbl 0543.13003)]. Ferner wird gezeigt: \(A\subset B\subset \bar A\Rightarrow \nu (B)\leq \nu (A);A\subset B\quad etal\Rightarrow \nu (B)\geq \nu (A).\)
