Based on the modulus-based synchronous multisplitting iteration methods, the authors construct a class of modified modulus-based synchronous multisplitting iteration methods for solving large sparse linear complementarity problems and present the convergence analysis when the system matrices are $H_{+}$-matrices. Two numerical examples are used to examine the parallel computational efficiency of the proposed methods. Numerical results are presented to show the efficiency of the proposed methods and compared to the existing methods.
