The Green element method (GEM) is a new technique for solving partial differential equations by boundary integral approach. The GEM combines the second-order accuracy of the boundary element techniques with the finite element techniques. The standard formulation of the GEM ceases to be efficient in 2D and 3D domains where many different normal fluxes node shared by more elements, so this technique loses practically one order of this intrinsic accuracy. Two different approaches to minimize the accuracy-efficiency problem are proposed in this work.
