This paper describes and studies the quasi-Poisson structures corresponding to moduli spaces. Recently, \textit{G. Massuyeau} and \textit{V. Turaev} [Int. Math. Res. Not. 2014, No. 1, 1--64 (2014; Zbl 1298.53085)] described quasi-Poisson structures in terms of an intersection form. In this work, the authors describe the moduli spaces from the Poisson point of view. First, they recall the basic definitions about the theory of quasi-Poisson manifolds. Then, they generalize the result of Massuyeau and Tuarev by introducing the intersection form on the fundamental groupoid. The result is also extended to quilted surfaces. The Poisson structure is described in terms of spin networks.
