For a differential equation \(w^{(n)}+p_{n-1}(z)w^{(n-1)}+...p_ 0(z)w=0\) with polynomial coefficients the author investigates the density of zeros of individual solutions, the density of zeros of the fundamental set of solutions and the distribution of zeros of the solutions. In particular, it is proved that the total number of zeros in some large disc \(| z| <r\) but outside the ``logarithmic strips'' \(| \arg z-\theta | <C \log^+| z| /| z|^{1/p}\) around the Stokes rays arg z\(=\theta\) is of order O(log r).
