The authors consider bundle homomorphisms between tangent distributions and vector bundles of the same rank. They study the conditions for fundamental singularities when the bundle homomorphism is induced from a Morin map. When the tangent distribution is the contact structure, they characterize singularities of the bundle homomorphism by using the Hamiltonian vector fields. The paper is organized into four sections as follows : Bundle homomorphisms and their singular points (singular points of bundle homomorphisms, geometric interpretations of singularities), Generic singularities, Morin singularities from a manifold with tangent distribution (Morin singularities, conditions for singularities, restriction of singularities, connection to foliation, connection to contact structure). Other papers by the first author directly connected to these results are [Hiroshima Math. J. 40, No. 2, 229--239 (2010; Zbl 1223.57028); Contemp.
