The authors investigate the problem of robust \(\mathcal H_{\infty}\)-filtering for neutral delay-differential systems subject to parameter uncertainties. The uncertainties are assumed to be bounded. Using the Lyapunov functional technique combined with the linear matrix inequalities (LMI) technique, they develop a robust \(\mathcal H_{\infty}\) filter for this system, which makes the closed-loop system asymptotically stable and the bound of the \(\mathcal H_{\infty}\) norm minimized. A stability criterion for the existence of the filter is derived in terms of LMIs, and their solutions provide a parameterized representation of the filter. Such LMIs can be easily solved by various efficient convex optimization algorithms.
