The circumcenter of mass of a simplicial polytope is defined, following a geometric construction by \textit{V. E. Adler} [Physica D 87, No. 1--4, 52--57 (1995; Zbl 1194.35353)], as an affine combination of the circumcenters of the simplexes in a triangulation of the polytope, weighted by their volumes. The author proves, in a different manner than in the paper by \textit{S. Tabachnikov} and \textit{E. Tsukerman} [Discrete Comput. Geom. 51, No. 4, 815--836 (2014; Zbl 1301.51023)], that in case of an equilateral polygon the circumcenter of mass coincides with the centroid of the polygonal lamina. This result is generalized to each \(d\)-dimensional simplicial polytope having the property that for each of its faces the sum of squares of its edges is constant.
