A general transformation formula for an absolutely convergent triple series \(\sum^{\infty}_{r=1}\sum^{\infty}_{k=1}\sum^{\infty}_{m=1}f(r, k,m)\) with complex terms has been proved. Some applications were given, which lead to corollaries like \[ 2\sum^{\infty}_{r=1}f(r)\sum_{k\leq r}f(k)=(\sum^{\infty}_{r=1}f(r))^ 2+\sum^{\infty}_{r=1}f^ 2(r) \] and \(\sum^{\infty}_{r=1}r^{-2}\sum^{r}_{k=1}k^{- 2}\sum^{k}_{m=1}m^{-2}=(31/15 120)\pi^ 6\).
