Factorization of matrix functions with subgroup supported Fourier coefficients (Q852775): Difference between revisions

The authors study factorization problems for matrix functions of Wiener class defined on a connected compact abelian group. It is proved that if a matrix function admits a factorization with respect to a connected compact abelian supergroup, then it admits a factorization with respect to the original group.
