    Soit \(\mathcal C^1\) la catégorie des \(C^*\)-algèbres unitaires (pas nécessairement commutatives). Pour un compact \(X\), soit \(C(X)\) la \(C^*\)-algèbre des fonctions complexes continues sur \(X\). Les auteurs montrent que \(C(X)\) est projective dans la catégorie \(\mathcal C^1\) si, et seulement si, \(X\) est une dendrite.
