First for a finite set \(U\) and then an infinite set \(U\), the author establishes a one to one correspondence between the quasi-discrete closures on \(U\) and the reflexive relations on \(U\) and shows that \(S\) is the transitive closure of \(R\) if \(R\) and \(S\) are the relations determined by the closures cl and \(\text{cl}_T\) (the topological closure induced by cl), respectively.
