In a metric space, equipped with a doubling measure and a length metric, it is possible to define \(p\)--superharmonic functions by a comparison principle, involving Newtonian spaces, as introduced by \textit{N. Shanmugalingam} [Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 16, No. 2, 243--279 (2000; Zbl 0974.46038)]. The main result shows that \(p\)-superharmonic functions are integrable with small exponent on the Hölder domains of the space. This result extends that obtained by \textit{P. Lindqvist} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 365, 67--79 (1986; Zbl 0572.31004)] in the Euclidian case and by \textit{J. Kinnunen} and \textit{O. Martio} [Result. Math. 44, No. 1--2, 114--129 (2003; Zbl 1042.31005)] for local integrability in this general framework.
