Semi-analytic integration of hypersingular Galerkin BIEs for three-dimensional potential problems (Q2271947): Difference between revisions

An accurate and efficient semi-analytic integration technique is developed for three dimensional hypersingular boundary integral equations (BIEs) of potential theory. The methodology is applied to singular boundary integral equations of potential theory involving Green function and its gradient. The current semi-analytic approach can be extended to the Lamé equation in linear isotropic elasticity. Sample problems demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is accurate, robust and stable.
