The authors obtain explicit expressions for 15 effective reduced elastic compliances of an elastically anisotropic solid containing multiple microcracks with an arbitrary degree alignment under 2D deformations. A crack orientation distribution function is introduced. The obtained results are based on a non-interaction approximation.
