In an infinite vessel V, given by \(V=\{(y,z)\in {\mathbb{R}}^ n,\quad z>\psi (y)\}\) where \(\psi: {\mathbb{R}}^{n-1}\to {\mathbb{R}}\) is a Lipschitz continuous function with \(\lim_{| y| \to \infty}\psi (y)=+\infty,\) the author studies the equilibrium configuration of an incompressible fluid rotating with constant angular velocity \(\Omega\). With good suitable hypotheses about the mean curvature of \(\partial V\), the author proves, for small angular velocity, the existence of local minima of the total energy functional (given by volume terms, gravity and kinetic forces, and surface contributions).
