    Es werden verschiedene mathematische und numerische Techniken untersucht, die sich mit zweidimensionalen Problemen mit beweglichem Rand befassen. Dabei wird eine inkompressible, rotationsfreie und reibungsfreie Strömung betrachtet, wobei das Potentialproblem mit Hilfe der konformen Abbildung gelöst wird. Die Methode wurde benutzt, um die Rayleigh- Taylor Instabilität an einer Trennfläche und auch an einer freien Oberfläche zu berechnen.
