Several gradient estimates are established for second-order divergence type parabolic and elliptic systems \[ -u_t+D_\alpha(A^{\alpha\beta}D_\beta u)+ D_\alpha(B^\alpha u)+\hat B^\alpha D_\alpha u+Cu=\text{div}g+f \,\text{and}\, \] \[ D_\alpha(A^{\alpha\beta}D_\beta u)+ D_\alpha(B^\alpha u)+\hat B^\alpha D_\alpha u+Cu=\text{div}g+f\,. \] The coefficients and data are Hölder or Dini continuous in the time variable and all but one spatial variable. This type of system arises from the problems of linearly elastic laminates and composite materials. The proof is based on the Campanato's approach. Non-divergence type equations under similar conditions are also discussed.
