Generalizing the well-known concept of non-Radon partition of a finite set of points in \({\mathbb{R}}^ d\), the authors introduce the concept of non-Radon partition of an oriented matroid, and elaborate an axiomatic characterization of the families of non-Radon partitions of these matroids. However, for more detailed information the reader should consult the article itself.
