A radically full module M over a commutative noetherian ring R is an R- module M without maximal submodules. Of course, such a module is not finitely generated. An R-module M is called half-artinian if M is the sum of its artinian submodules. In theorem A the author shows that a half-artinian, radically full R-module M with ascending chain condition on radically full R- submodules is an artinian R-module. In theorem B he gives three equivalent characterizations of the radically full R-modules with ascending and descending chain conditions on radically full R-submodules. Among several other interesting results the author also shows the following. Suppose that M is an injective R-module without non-zero socle. Then by theorem 2.4 M satisfies the ascending chain condition on radically full R-submodules if and only if M has finite Goldie dimension and every associated prime ideal P of M has height zero and R/P has Krull-dimension one.
