    Soit \(\alpha\in {\mathbb{C}}\), on dit que \(\alpha\) est de type de transcendance \(\tau\) si et seulement si \(\tau\) est la borne inférieure des réels \(\lambda\geq 0\) tels que pour \(C=C(\alpha,\lambda)>0\) convenable on a \(\log | P(\alpha)| >-C t(P)^{\lambda}\) pour tout polynôme \(P\in {\mathbb{Z}}[X]\); \(P(\alpha)\neq 0\) et où t(P) désigne la taille de P. L'auteur étudie les propriétés de densité de l'ensemble \(A_{\tau}\) des nombres complexes de type de transcendance \(\tau\). Pour \(\tau <2\) la classification est simple, tandis que presque tous les nombres complexes appartiennent à \(A_ 2\), il montre que \({\mathbb{C}}\setminus A_ 2\) est de mesure de Hausdorff d- dimensionnelle nulle pour tout \(d>0\). Pourtant il démontre également que pour tout \(\tau\geq 2\) l'ensemble \(A_{\tau}\), dense dans \({\mathbb{C}}\), a la puissance du continu. La méthode d'auteur est constructive, il exhibe des familles de nombres complexes de type de transcendance donné.
