Zunächst wird gezeigt, daß für Ringe R, für die jeder Restklassenring einen offenen normalen Ort hat, die Eigenschaft ``R japanisch'' äquivalent ist zu ``R/p japanisch für alle Primideale der Cohöhe 1''. Damit wird eine Klasse von Jacobsonringen R konstruiert, in denen die Eigenschaften ``R japanisch'' und ``jeder Restklassenring hat eine offenen normalen Ort'' äquivalent sind.
