A generalization of the classical Bernstein inequality \[ | p'(x)|\leq k(1-x^ 2)^{-1/2}(\| p\|^ 2_{[-1,1]}-p^ 2(x))^{1/2}, \] for \(x\in(-1,1)\), where \(p\) is a real polynomial with \(\deg p\leq k\) is given for the multivariate case.
