The author presents a family of higher-order iterative methods for refining all zeros (simple or multiple) of an analytic function defined inside and on a simple smooth closed contour in the complex plane. This family of methods in \S3 is suitable also for interval operators. According to the author the main advantages of these methods are: (i) the automatic determination of rigorous error bounds for all approximate solutions of each iteration step; (ii) the ability to incorporate rounding errors without sacrificing the important inclusion property of the methods. For many parallel iterative methods, which are special cases of this family, see \textit{M. S. Petković} [Iterative methods for simultaneous inclusion of polynomial zeros (1989; Zbl 0689.65028)].
