Equidistribution properties of quadratic congruential pseudorandom numbers (Q1356994): Difference between revisions

Ausgehend von der Definition der Diskrepanz einer \(N\)-Folge von (algorithmisch erzeugten) Zufallszahlen wird gezeigt: Die Diskrepanz einer mit quadratischem Polynom erzeugten \(N\)-Folge bleibt bei Multiplikation der Folge mit einem festen Faktor (nur wenige Ausnahmen) ``genügend'' beschränkt, sodaß die (erwünschte) Gleichverteilung des Ergebnisses ausreichend gesichert erscheint.
