The authors consider the two condition numbers described by \textit{C. W. Stewart} [ibid. 112, 189-193 (1989; Zbl 0658.15003)], \textit{M. J. Todd} [Oper. Res. 38, No. 6, 1006-1018 (1990; Zbl 0724.90037)] and others for a matrix \(A\) given by the suprema of the norms of all the oblique projection operators, respectively, on the image space of \(A^T\) and the null space of \(A\) and show that actually these two numbers coincide.
