The random version of the Kirzbraun-Valentine extension theorem (Q1378592): Difference between revisions

A measurable Kirzbraun-Valentine extension theorem is obtained. As applications, a random approximation theorem and a random fixed point theorem are given. The results presented in the paper generalize the corresponding results of \textit{T.-C. Lin} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 103, No. 4, 1129-1135 (1988; Zbl 0676.47041)], \textit{I. Beg} and \textit{N. Shahzad} [J. Appl. Math. Stochastic Anal. 7, No. 2, 145-150 (1994; Zbl 0811.47069)] and \textit{N. S. Papageorgiou} [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci., 11, No. 3, 551-559 (1988; Zbl 0658.60090)].
