The authors prove a rigidity theorem for an \(m\)-dimensional submanifold \(M^m\) of an \(n\)-dimensional conformal space \(C^n\). Note that for hypersurfaces in \(C^n\) a rigidity theorem was proved by \textit{M. A. Akivis} and \textit{V. V. Goldberg} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 125, No. 8, 2415--2424 (1997; Zbl 0887.53030)], or the book [\textit{M. A. Akivis} and \textit{V. V. Goldberg}, Conformal Differential Geometry and Its Generalizations, Wiley, New York (1996; Zbl 0863.53002)] and for submanifolds in a Euclidean \(n\)-space such a theorem was proved by \textit{H. Li} [Math. Ann. 305, No. 4, 665--672 (1996; Zbl 0864.53040)].
