In a Banach space an evolution equation with an \(m\)-accretive operator and a forcing term is considered. The solutions of the equation are subordinated to a time-dependent constraint. The constraint is incorporated into the problem by defining the forcing term on a set, that is the graph of the intersection of a time-dependent multifunction with closed values and the closure of the domain of definition to the \(m\)-accretive operator. Under various assumptions, including a condition for positive invariance, the existence of mild solutions is proved. A comparison of the obtained results with known results is given.
