Topologies of the quotient spaces induced by the \(M\)-topological plane and the infinite \(M\)-topological sphere (Q2315310): Difference between revisions

In this paper, the author studies two topologies on quotient spaces related to the Alexandroff one-point compactification of the Marcus-Wyse topological plane. Moreover, he investigates separation axioms and nowhere dense subset properties of quotient spaces of the Marcus-Wyse topological plane. Finally, the fixed point property of the compactification of the Marcus-Wyse topological plane is introduced and it is proved that every continuous self-bijection of the compactification of the \(M\)-topological plane has a fixed point.
