Recall that a topological space \(X\) is a Namioka space if for any compact space \(K\) and any map \(f: X\to C_p(K)\) (\(C_p(K)\) denoting the space of continuous real-valued functions on \(K\) with pointwise convergence) there exists an everywhere dense subset \(G\) in \(X\) such that \(f: X\to C(K)\) is continuous at each point of \(G\). The author defines a certain topological game \(G_{cd}\) and proves: Theorem: Any topological space \(\beta\)-unfavourable for the game \(G_{cd}\) is a Namioka space. As a corollary he obtains: Any Baire space containing an everywhere dense \({\mathcal K}\)-countably determined set (in particular any separable Baire space) is a Namioka space.
