    The paper deals with the equation \[ Y(n+1)= \bigl[A+B(n) \bigr] Y(n)+F \bigl(n,Y(n) \bigr) \] with \(Y(n)=(y(n), y(n-1),\dots, y(n-r))^T\), \(F \bigl(n,Y(n)\bigr) =\biggl(f\bigl(n,y (n-\theta) \bigr),0,\dots, 0\biggr)^T\) suitable matrices \(A\), \(B(n)\), and an integer \(\theta\) from \(0\leq \theta\leq r\). Under certain assumptions the asymptotic behaviour of \(y(n)\) is determined.
