The author proves that the sum of inverses of larger eigenvalues of the standard product of two matrices majorizes that of the Hadamard product of two matrices. Moreover, the author settles the weak multiplicative majorization conjecture for Hadamard products proposed at the 1987 Utah State University matrix theory conference by C. R. Johnson and R. B. Bapat.
