The author applies methods of integral geometry for sheaves and \({\mathcal D}\)-modules to the study of the real affine Radon transform. In particular, he shows how the different phenomena occuring in the real projective, real affine, or conformal Radon transform reflect different topological configurations related to the same analytical setting, given by the complex projective Radon transform.
